Computer Science and AI Foundations - AIF
The workshop is a five-day professional learning series in Summer 2026. It supports new-to-CS and veteran CS teachers with the tools to implement CS and AI Literacy at the High School level.
The AI Foundations curriculum offers teachers flexibility in how they implement the content, allowing for customizations to meet the needs of their students, while addressing the CSTA standards and supporting the new Michigan HS CS requirement with AI literacy executive order.
AIF is designed for high school students at any level of computer science experience. It is accessible to beginners with no prior programming knowledge, and it also provides opportunities for students with some background in computing to deepen their understanding of key topics.
Can meet the High School CS course requirement. This curriculum can serve as an introductory course or as a bridge to more advanced studies, such as AP Computer Science A (CSA).
