Computer Science Discoveries Workshop Information
This workshop is a multi-day professional learning series in Summer 2025, spanning five consecutive days in the summer and eight after-school days, virtually during the school year. It supports new-to-CS and veteran CS teachers with the tools to implement MS & HS courses.
There is no prior computer science experience required to attend the workshops. After attending the five day Summer workshop, educators will feel confident to plan and instruct the courses. On-going workshops throughout the school year provides educators additional support on each unit.
With Code.org's curriculum, you will gain access to a free, year-long or modular curriculum designed to introduce students to the foundational concepts of computer science. This introductory course empowers students to create authentic projects and engage with computer science as a medium for creativity, communication, problem-solving, and fun. With a diverse set of options available in CS Discoveries, there’s a course tailored to meet a wide range of classroom needs.

Course Description: Code.org's most flexible course, allowing each unit to be taught alone, combined into collections that focus on specific areas, or as a full year course. The free curriculum introduces students to building their own websites, apps, animations, games, and physical computing systems.
